That's right folks, it is that time again!  Time to put your movie-making skills to work in order to crush the competition and take home the prize and prestige!  That, of course, is for those who know all about AMVs and what to do with them.  For the rest of you out there, read on!

         For the super-newb, AMVs stand for Anime Music Videos.  It's where you take your favorite show and put it to your favorite music!  Kinda like MTV, but not.  There are all sorts of programs out there that let you splice together video and add effects, but I'll leave that part for you to figure out.  How serious is the competition?  When someone is really good at creating AMVs, they are of movie-quality.

         Of course there are categories!  You could win for having the funniest, or the most dramatic, or most creative, or even win an overall champ prize.  We'll be playing these AMVs and taking votes throughout the event, and your AMVs will also be played on our AnimeTV in the hotel rooms.  Maximum exposure!

         Now you get to read the rules and guidelines.  Then after you can send your files to AMV@anizona.org using http://www.sendthisfile.com.  That's the best way to send big files, and I hope yours is a HUGE file.
